. Trance Nation 2002Search: Push The Legacy by: Various Artists Release Date only the first CD is worth listening to. This contains a few great tunes, but the dissapointing fact that there are too many tracks which are regular features on radio stations (normal dance tunes which I wouldn't classify as trance)but as a whole, this first CD is well worth buying. I wish they would bring back single CD compilations as the second CD contains loads of tuneless tracks which you have to pay for even if you never have the slightest intention of placing in your CD player. |

Gatecrasher: ForeverSearch: Push The Legacy by: Various Artists Release Date July 25, 2006 It does annoy me that they've stuck loads of classics on here- anyone who has the previous Gatecrasher albums (which I have all of, except for the classic ones) will have half these tracks already. So what's the point of buying it if you already have them? What market are they trying to target? People who have only just started to get into crasher I guess. The new songs on here are pretty good, but nowhere near as ground breaking and original as the first 10 (yes, TEN!) GC albums. (excluding Digital possibly) I wish they'd just stuck to the standard GC mould using a good DJ (Scott Bond) who mixes well and chooses new fresh tracks no one has heard of. Ibiza EuphoriaSearch: Push The Legacy by: Dave Pearce Release Date January 08, 2002 Ok so DP isn't the coolest DJ to like but he does know how to get a club full of people to jump around like idiots, stick their hands in the air and grin stupidly with their eyes shut. At least that's what this cd reminds me of whilst being at a Euphoira night in Eden Ibiza in the summer of 2001. This isn't cheese it's a good set which builds well across both cds. I still like it today and it still makes me want to go clubbing so who cares if it's trendy or not! |

GodskitchenSearch: Push The Legacy by: Various Artists Release Date September 17, 2001 A trully remarkable sound from start to finish that manages to combine commercial favourites such as Ian Van Dahl's chart buster and Tall Paul vs INXS's hit, with the more 'hardcore' trance style of Godskitchen. As someone who traveled to the white island on a two week bender earlier this year, there is no album that takes me back as much as this one. Clubber's guide and Cream Ibiza are classy numbers but this is the one that really hits home. Look out for 'Good god - JFK', 'Joyenergizer - Joy Kitikonti' and of course THE song of Ibiza 2001, 10 in 01!! Only one bad thing about this CD, well 2. It's not mixed by Fergie and possibly the greatest song of the year by the chemics (you know the one!) doesn't feature and was a big GK tune this summer. Read More: |

Classic EuphoriaSearch: Push The Legacy by: Various Artists Release Date May 22, 2006 Acknowledging all the other reviews that reinforce the point of this being a classic revisit of some of the last 10 years' biggest tunes, I really want to outline that Ministry of Sound ownership also represents possibly the biggest thorn in Euphoria's side. If we take a look at the first Euphoria albums, we can see some real honesty and new ground there. Seldom-heard-of-on-mix-compilations talent like PF Project, Matt Darey, Agnelli&Nelson and Jay Burnett, these guys were given a task to put together an album that said what they wanted to say. The Euphoria album cover would proudly proclaim who had mixed it (and even how - some albums were "digitally mixed" i.e. on a computer rather than by all-hands-on-decks) and each album had a personality reflective of the mixer. ...
