This CD has some wonderful Classical guitar music on it, played beautifully by Narciso Yepes. The repertoire is a mixture of Classic well known pieces together with rather less well known items. The CD has one huge advantage for learners of the Classical guitar. This is a system called CD-pluscore, which enables one to follow the score visually on screen when the CD is played on a PC. A moving cursor follows the score both at normal speed or if preferred at a much slower rate so that one can play along to the score quite easily. This facility extends to all the tracks on the disc, and one can even edit the score to one's liking as regards fingering etc. and then print out your own personal copy of the score. I first heard this while sitting on the terrace at Cafe del Mar in Lanzarote, and everyone sat there just listening. Played with a bit of volume it is outstanding. There are a couple of tracks like Bizet's Carmen that I couldn't get my head round, but Danza Espanola No.5 is just outstanding. Not for everyones taste, and very different, but I play it in my bar, and a lot of people ask me what I'm playing...........more so than when I play any other CDM CD, with the exception of maybe La Caina.

I first heard this while sitting on the terrace at Cafe del Mar in Lanzarote, and everyone sat there just listening. Played with a bit of volume it is outstanding.
