Several Linda compilations have been released over the years highlighting her remarkable vocal abilities, but this compilation differs in that it includes the complete Hacienda View album, produced by Mike Batt in 1979. That album has never been released on its own on CD, but it does reveal to the listener that Ms. Lewis can thrill when she sings at a lower register, just as she can when she hits those amazing high notes. For those who have the earlier Linda compilations, buy this for CD3 alone, and wallow in those ten tracks that made up the original Hacienda View alum. This is a surprisingly good compilation - one that bears listening to over and over. There are a few less strong tracks (Clodagh Rodgers probably the weakest), and a couple that start to irritate after a few playings (the Chordettes 'Lollipop' springs to mind here) but if you want a good collection that is a bit different from lots of the others this is an excellent place to start.

OK - so if you hear it too often you may well want to hasten Twinkle's reunion with Terry - but it is stil a classic track of its era, and anyone who grew up listening to local radio in the sixties will associate the Dixie Cups 'Chapel of Love' with the wedding announcements.
