Even though a some of the songs bored me, I admired the way the creators set this compilation out. The more catchier, well known songs are at the beginning of each cd, and the lesser known ones are at the end. Even though I found this album a bit tedious at times, it is a nice one to have anyway, as it has some really cool songs that I had never heard before. I wouldn't reccomend this album to somebody who had never really listened to this genre before, as it doesn't really have a huge range of songs on here. However, I gave this 4 stars as the songs which I enjoyed are ones which you can listen to again and again

This understated journey up and around memory lane is as warm and cosy as it is provocative and inspiring.

Old records that you would never think to throw together blend brilliantly with the occasional show stopper, like Grace Jones pelting out Nipple to the Bottle and my own personal favourite Martine Girault's - Revival, what an absolute classic and what a result to stumble across it on this unique compilation. I feel fully confident that most people know and love this record even if it has been shamefully and temporarily forgotten.
