Each year Christmas complilation albums are released, and always with a new gimmick, which I get tired of. You could say the gimmick of this compilation set is that it's mostly tracks sung by 'the old Crooners', if it is then I'll make the exception. Admittedly I don't listen to every single track on each disc, because they're not ALL to my taste, but it would be very hard for them to produce an album of Christmas music that was to my taste and to everyone else's aswell. The ones I do listen to, which to be fair is the majority, I enjoy having in one set instead of having to swap between lots discs to get White Christmas by Bing Crosby from one and then Santa Baby by Ertha Kitt from another, I can just put it on ... Mellow, smooth, rhythmic, it's good for stressed parents and the melodies even improve with familiarity!
