Release Date January 15, 2007
This product description is wrong. The track 19 "Still Here" that is listed in the product description does not exist. There are only 18 tracks on this CD. This is identical to the US soundtrack, thus rumors of the two versions being different are false.
This is a typical Rocky soundtrack, with every single track on the entire CD being a butchered remix that sounds nothing like the one that appeared in the movie. Every Rocky soundtrack to date has been like this. The Rocky 4 songs sound terrible as usual. You have dialog mixed into the audio tracks, so you get to listen to Rocky's voice every single time. Cringe-worthy.
When are they going to come out with a Rocky soundtrack that is NOT a "remixed" or "arranged" version?

One of those was the idea that you could "win" without winning, which was a fairly radical idea at the time, but quickly abandoned in the sequels that followed. But one of the key ingredients was the memorable score by Bill Conti. The strength of the score is much more than the "Fanfare for Rocky," although certainly the opening trumpet burst suggested to viewers that they were about to see something special, even when first confronted with the sight of Rocky Balboa taking ...
