You know what you get with Ministry, and as long as you can accept some obvious tunes chucked in to the mix, rarely are you left dissapointed.
Some great tracks included, worthy of a particular mention are the love it / hate it Samim - Heater, Dave Armstrong - Love Has Gone, Mark Knight Feat. Luciana From Portobella - Party Animal (Vandalism Remix), Jon Fitz - You'll See Me, Cor Fijneman - Jaguar + CRW's I Feel Loved (Aaron McClelland Remix).

You know what you get with Ministry, and as long as you can accept some obvious tunes chucked in to the mix, rarely are you left dissapointed.

One of my favourite mix albums of 2008 !!!

I really can't understand why people are giving this a hard time.
Dance music is a constantly evolving creature and DJs such as Harry Choo Choo are artists who like to find new sounds, grooves and textures in thier music.
Every time I hear a new mix from Harry (which is never often enough !) there is always a progression in his musical direction. He often goes for more Techno orientated grooves than other "House" DJs.........the main reason why I like his music selection so much.
Yes, there is a more minimal feel to this mix, but always with that essential funky groove to it, and it also has the anthemic "Rise Up" which is as "Big Room" as you can get.

This is a great techno mix, disk 1 especially. I can imagine this in a club, it makes you nod your head and think 'tune'. I wouldnt really call this minimal and it reminds me of Ritchie Hawtin mixes of old, but brought up to date. The most clubby of the at the controls so far and the least experimental but this is a near on perfect mix of techno thats good at home or in the car. Disk 2 is in the same vein and tempo but is a bit more mellow and ploddy , still it sounds good on a sunday night or for chillin but you wouldnt play it before going out clubbing. Overall a quality techno mix and if you like MANDY and JAMES HOLDEN you will almost definately like this.The best 'at the controls' so far.

Azuli comps of late seemed to have lost that special touch, and maybe thats because releases are a lot more frequent these days. 3 years ago i had to wait 6 (long) months for Azuli to put out either their latest Miami or Space installment. So with recent releases missing that killer soundtrack, how does this latest compare...
Certainly better, not magical, but some great (new) tracks included.
Highlights include Nubreed - Nufunk (Deadmau5 Remix), Joi Cardwell - Keep Coming Around (Nervouslicious Remix), Mobbing - Open Legs, Sgt Slick & Pitch Dark - Automatic Machine (Vandalism Remix), Mind Electric - Gotta Keep On (Original Mix) & producer of the moment, Deadmau5 - Not Exactly.
