Never have I heard someone with such a deep understanding of what music should be. Jorge is a adpetly at home in so many styles. "America do Norte" and "Trabalhador" are both nods to the influence of North American percussion, both styles fitted effortless into the Jorge plan - sprightly, melodic - this man can make a violin sound funky. "Burguesinha" is a beautiful pop-samba - Jorge's understanding of the transecendent chanted chorus in evidence. This track will have you humming along, tapping your toes.
