This is the latest HITS compilation by the coloboration of BMG, Sony, Warner Bros. and Telstar Music. First of all, this series never seems to have a clear title for it. Is it Hits, New Hits, Fresh Hits, Big Hits or Huge Hits??? Than this year they changed the title totally to Music 1 and Music 2!!! Since none of these titles seem to catch on or produce big enough sales I would guess, they decided to call it HITS 50 to compete with this year's NOW 50. Well, let me tell you there is NO comparison between the two. You see the NOW series may give us a few less tracks, but they are the FULL LENGTH versions. From the first track on the first disc, I was - as the kids say, "Blown away!" There is something for everyone on this compilation, and a number of UK worship groups are here. From absolutely funky tracks ("You don't know" "Glorious" "All sides") to inpsirational ballads ("Soul music" "Natural High"), all genres of music, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Hip Hop, Funk. I absolutely LOVE IT! Everyone I've lent it to has sung its praise (pun intended) what's beautiful about it, is people who aren't Christians love the music and in some instances get the message. Definitely an album for the 21st Century believer.

I bought this as im in to R'nB and Urban. When i listened to this it was money well spent no doubt. One of my favourites is the B2K song Girlfriend, and i get some funny loooks when im shouting WOOOOOOWWWWW! at the start of this great remix!
The second CD is not that great but some of the songs i cant resist to dance to.
This Cd is a 5 because it has a good mix of tracks for your hearts desire . Buy IT!

I bought this as im in to R'nB and Urban. When i listened to this it was money well spent no doubt. One of my favourites is the B2K song Girlfriend, and i get some funny loooks when im shouting WOOOOOOWWWWW! at the start of this great remix!

This is seriously one of those compliations that is well worth getting.... ok so you might already have the "typicall" classic dance songs from another compilation, but this throws in some of the forgetten.
Its a really good mix of old classic dance tunes as well as some proper old school R&B and Hip-Hop classics, worth the purchase!

This is not one of those compilations with 2 good songs and the rest consisting of bad chart hits. It features chill out tunes like Ashanti's 'Foolish', Artful Dodger and Mel Blatts '24/7', and Gabrielles 'Don't Need The Sun To Shine (To Make Me Smile).'
Well-known artists such as Sugababes (Freak Like Me), Ms Dynamite (It Takes More) and Mis-Teeq (Roll On) show off their talents with bangin tunes while some of the best tracks are little-known, like the brilliant 'Baby be Mine' by ex Mis-teeq member Zena and 'No Flow' by teenager Lisa Roxanne.
Out of the 38 tracks there is one which I would skip; the awful 'Take me Home' by Sophie Ellis Bextor, but don't let this put you off. For r'n'b, hip hop, and pop lovers everywhere this is one not ... Read More:
