In these days of the radio-play "quick fix" it is nice to see an interesting concept given a chance to spread its wings and breathe for a change - JP have matured beyond the 3 minute live metal thrash which abounds these days and the results are amazing! shame they are only playing one date in the UK, the live performance of this album should be brilliant. you lucky people, here we have a world class band capable of amazing music, "Nostradamus" needs time to absorb, appreciate, and think about, this is their most significant album since "Sad Wings" - Priest have excelled themselves on this album, i hope other bands take note!

I read quite a bit in guitar mags etc about tis album, so I was keen to hear it. Got to say that I am disappinted. It lacks edge - the ideas seems diluted rather than concentrated, the songwriting is embarrassingly lame in places (that is, I don't want people to know I listen to songs with lyrics and musical cliches like these). Musically, it does not stand up against the new generation. And, like most if not all concept albums, the ambition is overcome by an inability to execute - it's very difficult to do a concept album. A pity because you can tell a lot of work has gone into this album. JP would have done better to focus on delivering 8 high quality tracks.
