Also wasteful as in some of these CDs overlap slightly (Pressure Drop appears 3 times, for instance, once in a horrible stereo mix).

Classy as in this is a fine bunch of music, as one would expect from a set which features the superb Toots & The Maytals in their late 60s/early 70s prime. 3 of the albums are produced by Leslie Kong (the second Jamaican producer to get a record in the UK Top 20 after Prince Buster, and the first to get a UK #1), and the first CD is a quality ska collection from the Byron Lee stable. If your knowledge of reggae goes as far as Bob Marley, and that's it, then you seriously need to broaden your tastes, and as a starter I highly recommend Toots. This CD covers The Maytals career from 1966 to 1974 and all the hits are here - Monkey Man (later covered by The Specials), their brilliant debut single Bam Bam, 54-46 That's My Number and probably their most famous song Pressure Drop (later covered by The Clash).
