 Rating:  - remix version?i bought this album for the brilliant babylon track. so what do i find? not the single version but a weaker remixed version without the full backing. POOR! VERY DISAPPOINTING! Rating:  - GoodI have never bought a David Gray album before but have enjoyed some of his previous singles that i have heard. I bought this in the hope that the quality would remain high throughout the whole album and to be honest it does. Songs such as Babylon, This Years Love, The One I Love, The Other Side and Be Mine are truly sensational and we should be honored to have heard such great songs. I recommend this to any fan of acoustic singer songwriters. Buy it now! Rating:  - OKHis best collection of songs are all on the album White Ladder which is a fantastic album and is where all his best work lies. If you want good David Gray get white ladder Rating:  - Great album, great serviceThe album needs little reviewing, it is David Gray at his best. Fantastic voice, fantastic songs and fantastic lyrics. The service from amazon is also worth a mention. Having forseen problems with delivery in time for xmas using royal mail, they automatically upgraded the postage to special delivery at no extra cost - and without me even having to ask! Needless to say, it has arrived on time and any disappointment has been avoided. Great stuff! Rating: - Does what it says on the tin!If your a avid Gray fan then this album will just be another one to add to the collection. If your not then this album would probably do. For some reason I always thought that he had more recognisable 'hits' but I only heard three or four songs that I remember. Do yourself a favour, if you only like a few of his hits, download them! David Gray is a acquired taste, a great songwriter, but an acquired taste! |
