180 Gram vinyl recording quality is the finest quality of vinyl playback one can make. This set deserves at least that and the sound is better than compact disc!
This first reissue of the Bee Gees classic albums by Rhino Records proves to be a collectors dream. Not only are "Bee Gees 1st", "Horizontal" and "Idea" Remastered, each album is suited with an additional vinyl album of outtakes, alternate versions and unreleased material.
The first album contains all versions of the Bee Gees first international hit, "New York Mining Disaster 1941" as well as alternates of key album cuts. There is also plenty of extra material such as the sixties rocking "Gilbert Green" and the vaudeville-like "Mr. Wallor's Wailing Wall" ... Read More:

If you love music you will love this CD only because Jose is such an accomplished artist. He is by far the best guitar player in his field and an accomplished singer as well. A lovely CD full of fantastic music.

Perhaps significantly, they dusted this song off for some of their later concerts.
'Really And Sincerely' is another favourite, the accordion playing off against Robin Gibb's vibrato to touching effect. 'Harry Braff' is the ... Read More:

This compilation includes the best of their music from mid-1969 to 1972. This period started with Saved by the bell (a Robin Gibb solo) and Don't forget to remember (perhaps my favorite Bee Gees song), both of which reached number two on the UK charts. They had little success for some time after that. In 1970, I O I O scraped into the top fifty, but Lonely days did better, making the top forty. In 1971, they didn't enter the UK charts at all. 1972 was better with My world making the top twenty and Run to me making the top ten. They had never really established themselves in America with their sixties pop-folk music and the songs from this collection didn't change that.
So this album may be seen by some as the best of a bad period in the careers of ... Read More:
