When I bought this album I was expecting big things. I'd heard people rave about this wonderful band. "You've got to buy their album" I was told. I did - and guess what - it failed to inspire. It's not that it's a dull working, it's the fact that the sound is so old and tired. It falls in to a backwash of sounds from hundreds of bands before them. I wanted to like this album, I really did, but I just couldn't. I don't know what their first two albums were like and quite frankly I don't care now. The tired sound of this band shows in their falling record sales - a trend which I suggest may continue until they are a band no more.

OK I am a tad biased as I'm a huge fan, but this is great! It arrived this morning and have been working my way through it. The songs are a lot more rocky/bluesy and quicker than when in the studio which those of you who've seen them in concert will be familiar with. I saw them in Wolverhampton I think 98/99 and this brings back a lot og good memories as they're excellent live. It's so good to have some live recordings at last! Pump the volume!

All the tracks are good, Space is excellent which is one I'm not so familar with; Desert Mountain Showdown also which is done slightly differently to on the album.

This follows up the excellent Looking for Lucky album, it's a shame they don't get the recognition they deserve.
