It’s an achingly familiar case. Dj’s/remixers/artists-of-the-moment deliver some truly awesome remixes and singles, and we wait patiently for what surely must be a groundbreaking album… But no, it’s rare these days. I had Shawnna's first album `Worth the Weight' which I enjoyed very much so when `Block Music', came out, I immediately went and brought a copy. Her rap on `Block Music' might have matured a bit but I won't call it a step up from her first album. The problem with `Block Music' is that the album was rushed. Most of the songs sound all too similar and nothing really stands out: I was on track seven yet it seemed like I had been listening to just one track all along. OKish album, shame it could have been better because this lady has some talent.

Groove Shot
