As a major fan of the first Breaks album from DJ Pogo, I would have taken some convincing that he could come up with a collection of more quality, rare gems from the world of soul / funk.
This album, therefore proved to be a very welcome surprise.
It is my understanding that Dj Pogo aimed these tracks at DJ's for sampling, but I can definitely state that the tracks go way beyond this market and will set very nicely, when played to discerning lovers of good soul / funk. In fact, from recent experience, your credibility will sky rocket as people start to question why these tracks have been secret for so long.
Essential for anyone who has ever loved funky music.
