There are a good amount of songs on this 3 disc box set a total of 54 songs.

Some of the songs are the remix type songs with extended intro which is disappointing ,

The set needs more of the 80's classic songs, there is no Frankie Goes to Hollywood but Paula Abdul and Ashford & Simpson make an appearance.

The album has Madness singing Uncle Sam which wasn't one of their biggest songs, the CD's also include a song from Blondie and a song from Deborah Harry, which is bit like having Culture club and then have a song by Boy George.

All in all a disappointing 80's set, no classics and I'm sure if I had looked harder I would of found better.

I am very sceptical about music and spend hours mulling over what to buy but this CD was worth every penny. The old classics are birlliant and it's a fantastic collection of the bext funky tunes you can buy. Thoroughly reccommend it.

Having seen more than enough of compilations from the 70s and the disco era, this CD is a welcome and much longed for showcase of what happened after the end of disco. The 40 tracks from this era formed the way we dance today. All tracks are worthwile inclusions and there is not one dud track in this collection. This album takes you back to the days of the 'Soul Weekender' and they certainly don't make tracks like these anymore. A must have for any 30somethings or a serious music collector.

There are so many compilations out there regarding 80's tunes and some of them range from the bizarre to the obscure.
This one delivers - recognisable tunes by recognisable bands who were at their greatest in the heyday music times of the 80's.
You have your hard 80's cd, your soft 80's cd and your ergh 80's cd, (Rick Astley)
On saying that it is very rarely out of my most played - it seems to suit my mood often enough.

A really neat album including some newer tracks and also the old classics. Every girl loves to sing along to 'I will survive' and 'All by myself' [Bridget Jones!!]. It's got song to keep you dancing and songs to mellow out too. An all time good girly album.
