If she was there in the 1980s, she must have had ear plugs in and a paper bag over her head! This album is a great compilation at a bargain price - fantastic for listening to in the car, or quizzing your mates (who was that?), or demonstrating your vast knowledge of 1980s pop trivia. For the discerning listener, this series of albums prompts wider research into some of these artists - the excellent Blancmange, for example, and whatever happened to Kon Kan? At less than £1 per disc, this is amazing value. For those who weren't there it provides a pretty good overview of what was happening in that decade. |
