This is easily the best Disco Heaven album yet by Hed Kandi. As a hardened and veteran clubber (since the '80s) this is a good as it gets. I've managed to get through 2 copies so far, it gets played that much. Disc 1 one gets off to a fab start and as for that cover of 'Could It Be Magic' - I couldn't believe my ears when I first heard it - if only Barry M was that cool!!! Disc 2 is so happy I can't help but smile whenever I play it. The second disc is far away the better of the two and thats saying something!! Some absolute 'hands in the air and love everyone' tracks on this one - a massive hit at my summer Bar-B-Qs this year. Can't Get Enough [Bonus Disc]

There's not much dance stuff I'll listen to, if I tell you my favourite bands inc Dream Theater, Pink Floyd and Sisters Of Mercy, then you'll know this is a genre I usually hate.

But this album, or at least the first CD is highly accesable, there's actually tunes and melodies (heaven preserve us) it's all catchy, easy on the ear, it's motivational as well as soothing.

Other dance music I can tolerate comes from Bent, Faithless, Orbital.. usually stuff that's got some musical quality, and not being played at full whack by all the t@ssers in their shitty lil cars (you know who you are).

No doubt if your an hardened dance fan, your probably reading this and thinking... how can you even pass judgement... well I ... Read More:

I was unsure of what to expect from this CD. I bought it becuase I had heard of Rivera, but that was about it. I'm not a great disco fan, and thankfully this CD does not fullfil its title. It is more funky US house All the tracks are really funky with a great bass line. One CD is his album - which is great, but The Bang is not the track you would have heard on the radio. The other CD is a mix CD which has a selection of types of house music - the only problem with this CD is that although there are 18 tunes, there is only one track so you have to search through the whole CD to find a particular tune.
