The first disc is the original Nuggets album, whereas the other 3 have since accompanied and made this box set. The original album is fantastic and the extra discs here build on it perfectly. I hadn't heard any of these songs before (Except Louie Louie). I wasn't around in the 60s but I love the music. This set makes a great change from the usual best of 60s albums with the same songs on everytime. It's also a perfect introduction for anyone just getting into garage rock/psych/proto punk. I listen to this on shuffle on my MP3 player and I do not skip a track (they really are all good). My favourite tracks are Talk Talk - The Music Machine ... Read More: |
