I am a big fan of the smashing pumpkins but have to say this album isnt worth buying simply because it doesnt live up to the high standard of their earlier albums, even the album cover is terrrible. The tracks which stand out are the singles Tarantula, Doomsdayclock and Thats the Way which start off strong then fall to pieces half way through. Most great rock bands produce two albums which are of any significance i.e Siamese Dream & Mellon Collie And The Infinate Sadness

This is a truly outstanding song, and yes, I am writing as someone old enough to have bought Siamese Dream on release. Musically, this is SO tight and extremely well produced - not mixed as though the only sound system in the world is the iPod. If you have some decent equipment this will pick you up by the scruff of the neck and put you up against your living room wall. As a piece of songwriting it shows maturity and control, of the kind not found in your average Nu Ravesters. Buy it and play it LOUD, you will understand.

Forever Faithless: the Greatest Hits

Being a fan of Faithless, it might lead me to being rather biased here when I say this album is simply the best album you WILL ever buy. Each song is fantastic in its own way, but I particularly like Why Go (featuring Estelle) and I Want More (the video is amazing!). Perfect for fans of slightly old-school not-too-heavy dance music such as Depeche Mode or more funky house style bands like Morcheeba perhaps. And, for under a fiver, it's an absolute bargain! You will kick yourself hard if you don't buy this album, I mean it!
