The previous writer had unfairly slammed this CD. The fact is there were at least 17 hits included in this CD package (and I don't even know the Mink Deville song!).

There were 2 UK #1s - Your Woman & Uptown Top Ranking, 10 UK Top 10 hits - My Sharona (US #1); Year of the Cat (US#1); Trouble; Money; Echo Beach; Let's Go All The Way (US Top 5); (Hey You) The Rocksteady Crew; Tarzan Boy; & Lovin' You (US Top 5)), 4 UK Top 20 hits -Driving Away From Home; Imagination; Dancing in the City & Romeo) and 1 other US Top 10 (Rush Hour)

This 3 CD boxset is crammed full of the greatest hits from the best decade of music --- the 80s!
It makes for a good introduction for anyone who dosen't already own an 80s comp or just for those who want to relive the music.
I wouldn't say that this is the best set to buy on the market, many of the biggest hit singles of the decade haven't been included but all the same, there's enough good songs by some great artists to keep the customer happy.
Recommened!

first of all I do own this CD set & yes there is some good songs in the set but the sound is poor the record level has been set so high when they put the 12" to CD or the record player they used was so poor it shows & in some of the songs you can tell as the speakers go mad as the recording level is set to high I'm using Missions M35i and they can take anything but they don't like these CDs at all I paid £6.99 for the set and I would say it's not worth no more the tracks on the CDs are not rare at all you will get them on other 12" 80s that is sold by Amazon and these you can enjoy playing on your HIFI without the problems of this box set
