I don't know about you but I don't like songs or albums that have been re-mixed, re-recorded or jiggled about with in any way. This cd would have been great if it wasn't for some of the tracks that have been re-recorded, with one or more of the original group member/s, most notably all those done by Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich plus a few others.

Personally I wouldn't have cd's like this if they were given away, they do distract from your overall pleasure. The companies producing tat like this should be wiped from the face of the Earth.

Not pleased at all as you may have guessed!

I don't normally go for "Best Ofs" or "Collections" but I felt this was an exception. The whole package is superbly produced and contains all you need for a look back at MA's history. They are a truely creative and influential band and just so different from anything else that has been.

The first disc has some old favourites, my personal ones being Unfinished Sympathy, Butterfly Caught, Teardrop and Protection.

The 2nd disc was more hit and miss for me, but I have to make a special mention for I Against I, a collaboration with Mos Def, whom I like very much as an artist in his own right. I first heard the track on an UNKLE CD (Edit Music for a Film) and was instantly gripped by it's pulsating beat.
