Best album to cry along to ...ever. If you like old skool but not necessarily disco, this album is great. I heard it in my hairdressers, then spent the better part of a Saturday trying to track it down in the shops but finally turned to the internet and Amazon where I found it going for a song!!!(sorry).
Mixing in a few of the younger artists (Toni Braxton, Craig David, Usher etc even Whacko Jacko!) amongst the great oldies works, as they picked the right tunes from artists who can actually sing as opposed to being digitally assisted.
Leaves you feeling pensive - in a good way - if you know what I mean.
Release Date March 28, 2005
Dave Seaman puts out probably his most boring mix ever - the proggy tracks are neither dark nor melodic enough to really work, and the electroey tracks are all very weak sounding. Luke Chable's mix rescues the package, with some high-energy breaks from the off (the Andy Page track in particular is thoroughly funky) and some truly epic prog tracks, such as his own "Tokyo" and "Skyline Road".

For anyone mourning the demise of Paradise Lost... (i.e. disappointed with the path PL took after 'Gothic' ) Then Draconian are the antidote.
This album is near as dammit the album Paradise Lost should have recorded as their third LP. It's dark and heavy; fast when necessary but not afraid to slow thing's right down and allow some haunting ethereal female vocals take center stage. Like PL, Draconian have a throaty and gutteral vocalist who, despite his roar, is not unintelligable; which makes everything very listenable. It makes you want to sing, sorry... I mean roar, along.
Don't think, though, that Draconinan are getting all their five stars because they are some kind of very good Paradise Lost tribute band. They would ... Read More:
