I personally had to listen to it a few times before i got into it because their sound was so different. So if you don't find yourself instantly grabbed give it a chance :) 5 shiny stars! |

. Garbage [VINYL]Search: Temptation Waits by: Garbage Release Date September 06, 1999 When i saw this album my friend recommended it; i wasnt sure. After all, it had the Nirvana connection and i expected the same rubbish rehashed tunes Cobain traded on. I was amazed at the depth and variation of the tracks Vig and co created. Queer plodded along but punched everything in its way, then Only Happy When It Rains comes along, mixing morbid Goth with punk rock and working. Vow and Stupid Girl climbed the charts and the album was played to death. Catching them at Brixton Acedemy was even better as the live material was fantastic. For a producer and two session musicians they backed Shirley Manson like seasoned professionals. Garbage 2.0 wasnt bad, but the crying shame is that they have never equalled ... Read More: |
