great, this is exactly what i was looking for. i bought a couple of shanemac and the popes releases (((crock of gold and the snake))) and was veryimpressed with the more traditional side of the music. i came accross thistitle and thought id try my luck having not heard of any of the songs norartists presented nicely here. its a great selection, 17 tracksaltogether, of jolly knees-up, acoustic beauty, good/nice time music thatcan be played at anytime, i found it quite relaxing also. not being irish(((but i dont suppose that really matters))) or having any knowledgereally of irish music imparticular, the booklet gives a little descriptionabout the artists involved, some of whom appear more than once and theseare their interpretations of the old ...
