i have given this cd 4 stars only, not because its not that good,its that this cd comes in 2 covers, ist one..rock on breakout years, 2nd motown legends, they are both the same cd but differant covers. it is a must for the d.r.s collectors as it is still full of great songs and a nice small booklet to go with it, WHAT BECOMESOF THE BROKEN HEARTED, just sung so well by dr,and the girls,UNCHAINED MELODY, wot can i say just stunning.the main cover of the black and white pics is a great advert for this cd and for the song STOP IN THE NAME OF LOVE... all in all it is worth the money so do add to your collection of the best girl group of all time. enjoy..

This set would seem to be aimed at the more than casual Supremes fan, rather than di hard Diana fans, as 25% of the songs are by the post Diana Supremes & most of the photos & notes are on the Supremes as a group.

The accompanying 70 odd page booklet contains some great photos & interesting 'Supreme's Snippets' such as what each Supreme's daily allowance was in 1965 ($100)

The booklet is what really helps make this collection interesting as many of the songs are available elsewhere although some early Primettess rarities are included. Unfortunately, these are not great songs nor are the performances anything special.
