Ian Dury and Jake Burns are excellent; Toyah, Phil Daniels and Richard Jobson less so. It's the fact that Robert Fripp, Peter Hammill, Nik Turner and Steve Hillage - clearly none of them "Punks" (as if anyone cares now) - turned up and joined the fun which makes this both interesting and an oddity. Some Strangler's fans will be rotating rapidly in their coffins over this one, but if you accept both that this is something more than unusual, and the spirit in which it was recorded (a semi-protest at Hugh's incarceration), ...
