Gatecrasher National Anthems - Ltd EditionSearch: The Thrillseekers Synaesthesia by: Various Artists Release Date December 04, 2000 Ok i'll start by giving it to Armin Van Burren for having the guts to produce such a cheesy mix CD, however all is not lost. the first CD contains many gems such as the alaska mix of synaesthesia, which is perfect for chilling on any occasion, and then the breaks version of bullet in the gun which is, yes, slightly cheesy, but the breakbeat really works. then Disc 1 declines totally. i doubt that any of these tunes have actually been played in any Crasher events, so its probably not what you would expect from a Crasher CD. CD two is slightly more underground - if not a bit house/tech house dominated. Basically in a nutshell, this CD suits boy racers to bits - full of anthems which bring fond memories of dancefloor ... . Cafe Mambo - the Real Sound of IbizaSearch: The Thrillseekers Synaesthesia by: Various Artists Release Date July 03, 2000 I love the chill out mix, can listen to it over and over again. A really nice mixture of tracks that relly chill you out. The club mix starts off great but after the first few tracks they all start sounding the same (they all have a similar beat) which I found quite monotonous. The only reason I have given this disk 5 stars is because of the chill out mix. |

If uplifting Trance is what you want, this album has some great tracks like "as the rush comes" by Motorcycle, which just has me jumping every time. The only real downside is that the mixes can be a bit rushed, found some favourite tracks being mixed out quite early on when they still had plenty to deliver. Overall....BUY IT!!! |

Classic Trance NationSearch: The Thrillseekers Synaesthesia by: Various Artists Release Date July 10, 2007 The main negative side to this and pretty much every other MOS compilation is that 99% of the tracks have been used before. I completely agree that this is unfair and that they don't really deserve the money they make from them. However, If you forget this is a MOS CD and judge it for the music inside, this is a damn good set of CDs. If you do not already have a "best of trance" compilation CD and you're into the genre, i strongly advise that you get this CD. The originality of track selection may be poor but when you hear all the sublime tracks like Sandstorm, Resurrection and Born Slippy perfectly mixed together, you won't regret the purchase. |
. Dance MastersSearch: The Thrillseekers Synaesthesia by: Various Artists Release Date This cute little number is a bouncing reflection of an Ibiza style Summer! Its absolutely mad and the very well mixed! i would reccommend it to all who love to live life in that mad old Ibiza way! Its one of those cd's with loads of songs on it that you love but you just never knew what they were called! If you buy this youll probably start thinking of booking your next Summer holiday! (i know i did!!!) Music is top class!!!! Turn it up! |
