Although the music is a departure from Claire's usual work, her singing is as beautiful and clear as ever.

The songs are a mixture of Claire's own work along with being co-wrote with Andrew Warren, but also includes some traditional songs.

I recommend this on the strength of Claire Hamill's beautiful singing, however the songs and tunes are excellent and compliment Claire's voice.

Although most of the megamixes featured on this album have appeared on other compilations several times before, this is most definitely one of the best party albums of recent years.

Most of the mixes used appear courtesy of the people behind the hugely successful "Stars On 45" series from the 1980s, and there's a couple of contributions from the original party animal 'himself', "Jive Bunny". Still, all the medleys here have been either remixed or remastered to give "Party Megamix" a whole new sound.

Besides the mixes supplied from the aforementioned artists, there's also tracks from 'Gidea Park' with their early 1980s chart single honouring the Beach Boys -- and believe me, they really do sound like the band themselves. ... Read More:

An excellent soundtrack for an excellent series. Being four years older than Simon in 1997, this soundtrack has had me bopping around for days. Not only are there old classics, and also classics dressed up (cue Minogue & Minogue, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor), but some fantastic new music from Dan Gillespie. This includes the fabulous theme tune, and some spectacular orchestrations throughout. My only gripe is that the Annie medley from the Joseph episode isn't included. That said, it is a superb soundtrack!!
