Firstly the innovation originality and technical abilities in all Boot Camp's members do not equate to Wu and there consistencies throughout the nineties.

The album has glimpses of quality but just cannot maintain it's momentum throughout. The obvious pairing of Rock and Ruck shine the brightest with starang and Smiff n Wessun closely following.
But this product cannot be compared to any of Wu-Tang's creations so do not buy this product on the basis of the previous review as it's a great misrepresentation of the final outcome.

Nice Album worth a listen !

This is a very good recording made in 1975/76 by the famous Thomanerchor (St. Thomas Church Choir) in Leipzig and impressive soloists, all of whom are clear-toned and precise. The conducting by Hans-Joachim Rotzsch, who used to be a leading tenor of his generation in former East Germany, is incisive. The instrumental accompaniment by members of the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra on modern instruments is excellent.

There is something timeless about this performance. There is a complete lack of artifice in the style. The tempi are generally appropriate (to this reviewer's ear) - neither too slow and ponderous as was often the case in the 1950s-1960s nor too fast and jerky as is fashionable in the "period performance" today.
