It is a captivating folk song, that Gary Farr has failed to repeat elsewhere, with the exception of the joyous "About This time of Year". The Mighty Baby rhythm section additionally is too distinctive at times, and I feel this crowds out Gary Farr occasionally. Overall I would say the singer songwriter herein is competent without being enthralling, but its merits are that is captures a period where there was a honest desire to return to basics.
