This is an excellent album of guitar-driven indie. The first 11 tracks are shortish by comparison to 'Looking Glass', the finale, which rewards you with 7+ minutes of a lament that finally builds up into a psychodelic soundscape. The tracks are all original melodies that grab you on the first listen. The hits you may know- 'Timeless Melody' is just that- you are left thinking it must be a cover but no, it's all original. 'There She Goes' has lost nothing of its fresh charm in the 17 years (count them) since it was released. And covered. And used on telly. And 'Feelin'' is just a great short rock tune. The album came out when I lived in Stockport and still reminds me of happy days in the town trawling the record shops. For me, a nostalgic old friend ... Read More:
