I listened to CD 1 and that was enough for me. When are MOS going to learn that they cant keep cranking out rubbish like this year upon year? (Well since 2001 anyway!) Give me the best tunes of the year and decent remixes on Vinyl and I will make the Annuals for you? how does that sound?

This 2CD set is currently available at a bargain price on Amazon. It might not be too cutting edge and some of the tracks are now a year or two old but it's definitely worth picking up at a bargain price, as it's a great CD to work to.

Commercial electro house, neatly mixed and well chosen. Don't let the 'Cream' logo put you off, it's a good quality mix.

Ive always tried to get into Ferry Corsten. Seen him in many clubs and he does play good tunes, but then plays some real cheesy rubbish.
This CD confirms my views.
CD01 is a big sell out, nothing like Ferry plays in a club. O.k its good house music, but Ferry isnt a house DJ. This CD to me tries to appeal to the masses and if it was this CD alone it woulod get a 1 star.
This is where CD 2 makes up for it. Good music and pretty good mixing. Good to have in the collection, but there are better trance mixes out there.
In summary, dont go out to buy this one, get it if your bored one day.

The Mix - Summer 2006 [VINYL]

I was a bit unsure of this CD at first and on the first play I was unimpressed. After a few listens I gradually began to love it. CD1 offers the usuall blend of Kandi Disco Heavan which is an easy listen. CD2 is a lot tougher, with a great mix of electro and vocal house tracks, some of which I have never heard. CD3 is a selection of big love tunes and is unmixed. I would definately recommend this CD to Hed Kandi lovers. It is one of the better compilations with seamless mixing and that twist of Hed Kandi remixing.
