Wow, they've actually made an album worth listening to in the car. With a great variety of dance tracks, there must be something for everyone on this album, with the exception of Boogie Pimps - Somebody to Love.
Disc 1 is one brilliant, really summer sounds, all from a couple of years ago. Its got Firestarter - Prodigy on it, perfect for Road rage in my opinion.
Disc 2 is also pretty good, with a few newer song on it, the excellent ATB tract (9pm) till i come.
This is a must for all dance fans as well as drivers looking for a descent CD with out forwarding a load of tracks to get to a decent song.

This is the latest HITS compilation by the coloboration of BMG, Sony, Warner Bros. and Telstar Music. First of all, this series never seems to have a clear title for it. Is it Hits, New Hits, Fresh Hits, Big Hits or Huge Hits??? Than this year they changed the title totally to Music 1 and Music 2!!! Since none of these titles seem to catch on or produce big enough sales I would guess, they decided to call it HITS 50 to compete with this year's NOW 50. Well, let me tell you there is NO comparison between the two. You see the NOW series may give us a few less tracks, but they are the FULL LENGTH versions. Once again I feel people are being conned by the major record labels into buying into this stuff. Yes, there are a lot of big songs and big names on it, and thats fine if you like commercial chart orientated music. But to call this album a clubbers bible is nonsense. I`m giving this album 2 stars because there are a few of decent tracks on it. Including Push - Strangeworld, Sound de-zign`s Happiness, Satoshie Tomies - Love in Traffic and Fatboys Slims Star69. Even these are at the commercial end, but they really are the only decent tracks on the album. Also, just to make a point, regarding the last review. There is ABSOLUTELY NO HARD HOUSE ON THIS ALBUM AT ALL. The hardest this album gets is Sound de-zigns track on CD2. My advice, real clubbers steer ... Read More:

This CD if fantastic there is only one thing that lets it down - and that is the third CD. Although we all love to listen to dance anthems of the past - and most of these sangs really are respected anthems, it would have been nice to see some newer tunes on an ablbum entitled "2004". Overall though, this CD is a must with tunes like 'let the sun shine,' 'love me right' and 'somebody to love' making it what it is.

Put Your Hands Up 4 is the best one yet, so many good tracks. Some shouldn`t have been covered though, seems to have destroyed the original songs but the majority of tracks across these 3 CD`s are really awesome, good for reviving oneself in the humidity of this hot summer, with a fan on and a beer or two...wonderful.

If you like your dance a little commercial, this is the album for you!

Back in the day you had Armand Van Helden, Phats and Small, ATB & Delerium to name a few... now you have Uniting nations, Eric Prydz & Junior jack. If you love all those commercial dance hits from the late 90s, you'll love this album (not least for the classics on disc 2). Dont wait for a "now thats what i call music album" it'll be full of bloody boy bands and britney...

Somebody Told Me That This Album Would Blow!(Cheessy...Yes) But I Listened To It And It Is Absolutely Fantastic! The Killers - Somebody Told Me (Mylo Mix)Is Superb. Although Some Of The Songs Have Already Been Played Out On Previous Ministry Of Sound CD'S, Nonetheless This 3-CD Compilation Is Just Worth It.
