There are a good amount of songs on this 3 disc box set a total of 54 songs.

Some of the songs are the remix type songs with extended intro which is disappointing ,

The set needs more of the 80's classic songs, there is no Frankie Goes to Hollywood but Paula Abdul and Ashford & Simpson make an appearance.

The album has Madness singing Uncle Sam which wasn't one of their biggest songs, the CD's also include a song from Blondie and a song from Deborah Harry, which is bit like having Culture club and then have a song by Boy George.

All in all a disappointing 80's set, no classics and I'm sure if I had looked harder I would of found better.

Well, well, well... what do I see before me 'ANOTHER' greatest hits album... and it's true apart from the last CD of whom I must admit never hearing of more than half the 'artists', apart from Meatloaf & Sinead O'Connor and I think that's about it, oh and of course Sophie Ellis Bexter and Kylie, but if anybody has read any of my reviews, then they'll know of my opinion of these so called 'GREATEST HITS', but I can truly say that this one looks like it can 'deliver the goods' so to speak... so maybe I'll be ordering one after all!!
As you can no doubt probably tell, I'm not one of these 'modern missis' ohh no I prefer my music to be well 'music' with a proper beat to it, none of your modern, thump, thump, thump, pound, pound, pound ... Read More:

Fair Double CD compilation of love songs but lacking one or two the more popular "last dance" songs. A balance of mediocre songs with a few highlights, nothing particularly special. The choice of Robbie Williams - Angels, Sixpence None The Richer - Kiss me, Eric Clapton - Wonderful Tonight, and Lighthouse Family - Lifted (all respectively) are the highlights of the first CD. Whereas the second seems to fall away somewhat only offering the humorous Hot Chocolate - You Sexy Thing. Worth a listen to I think

This is a great little set, not only because of the classic tunes that we are treated to, but because it has been released at a time when this style of love-related music is becoming increasingly popular again....radio stations are giving more play time to many of the songs on these discs nowadays, and it does not go unappreciated, because all of the songs on here have been favourites at one time or another.

George Michael, Robbie Williams, Nat King Cole, Joe Cocker with Jennifer Warnes, Ben E King, Aretha Franklin, Bread, Rod Stewart, The Hollies, The Bangles, Cliff Richard and many many other favourites are back for another outing in new releases, and it is wonderful to have them back........
