I have come in a bit late to the swing revival having always enjoyed my mum's Christmas albums featuring Dean Martin and Nat 'King' Cole. I recently bought a Dean Martin CD and immediately wanted more.

I went looking on Amazon and found Las Vegas Legends, a collection of some of the great tunes I've heard so many times but have struggled to put a name to, or to remember who sang them.

This is a great collection for some Sunday morning easy listenning, or for when you have people around for dinner. CD1 is far and away the best and a I guarantee that you'll know at least ten of the tracks, if only from recent adverts.

Cool in anybody's collection.

While Gladys recorded some excellent music for various other record labels, particularly for Motown, she will be best remembered for her music of the mid-seventies with Buddha. This British budget compilation is drawn exclusively from the Buddha vaults.

The chart history of the group is confusing, not least because some records charted in America but not Britain when originally released, but charted in Britain when reissued. However, all the big hits in both countries are included here.

Always loved "I Feel A Song In My Heart" and no matter how many times I play it it still makes me want to sing and bop along. Have a new found love for 60's, especially Motown and this was well worth the buy.
