The CD inlay card sums up Alvarado's style when it says that there is 'No flash, hype or trickery.' Seamless mixing of smooth grooves is the best way of describing this masterpiece. Right from the first track (Jersey Street 'Cried me a river') through to the more up-tempo 'Tribal Journey' by DJ Duke, Alvarado takes the listener on a journey of discovery.

My favourite tracks on the album are Aquanats 'Dance the Freestyle' and To-Ka Project 'Two Stones ahead' which combine uplifting funk with the deep west coast sound. Alvarado seems to have a knack of suprising the listener by dropping yet another top notch track, just when you think that the mix is reaching its peak.
