If I mentioned the name Wolfgang Flur, you may not know who I am speaking about. If I said Kraftwerk, you may say, I remember them! So were are they now? Well still around but not out in public view (very often). Wolfgang Flur ex member (and drummer) has decided to go his own way with this album Time Pie, it is a musical journey of his life,Time and even Mosquito's. The subjects may seem a bit strange for an ex member of Kraftwerk but they do work musically, however do not expect such tracks as Man Machine, Computer world or even Electric Cafe. I was inspired to buy this after reading Wolgang Fluer's autobiography, "I was a Robot". Although I am a Kraftwerk fan I have never seen this CD in a UK shop and, as Fluer was never credited with writing any of Kraftwerk's songs, I wasn't too bothered about digging it out.

However, having now heard this album I really wish I had bought it earlier - and I can't fathom why the record company haven't done more to promote it (like making it available in high street shops, for example).

Probably the main question I was asking myself was, "Does this sound like Kraftwerk?" Well, on the opening track there is a hint of Computerwelt 2 (the fast sampled voices at the end) but this is a much quirkier and less minimalist version of ... Read More:

I was inspired to buy this after reading Wolgang Fluer's autobiography, "I was a Robot". Although I am a Kraftwerk fan I have never seen this CD in a UK shop and, as Fluer was never credited with writing any of Kraftwerk's songs, I wasn't too bothered about digging it out.

for all you old skool d&b fans this is for you. garage is not my thing so one cd dont get played alot. but hold on to your hats the heavy rollers and the old skool jungle cds are just eye watering with some tunes that send you back to the good old days. the tunes maybe old but are land marks in d&b and jungle. for the money its a top buy!
