Fantastic DVD of what might be called his greatest hits concert. Not a poor song anywhere in sight. I particularly like 'Awake' and 'Remember When It Rained' and the 'duet' of Lucia Micarelli (violin) and Vanessa Fairburn Smith (cello) performing 'Kashmir' - absolutely stunning!!
Pour yourself a drink and chill: again and again and again ...ALL FOR LESS THAN £8!!!

Having listened and enjoyed Josh's first two albums and his DVDs, especially "Live at the Greek", this new album "Awake" is a dissapointment. The "African" sound of Black Mambaso and Vusi just does not fit with Josh. This album may become a hit only because people will buy it because Josh is popular. I doubt that this album will bring many (if any) new supporters or fans.

His 4x platinum debut album JOSH GROBAN was released on November 20th 2001,
His second, the 5x platinum selling CLOSER, was released on November 11th 2003, AWAKE {2x platinum} was released on November 7th 2006, and his Christmas album NOEL was released October 9, 2007 {2x platinum.}

According to information that came from the CD/DVD version of NOEL, AWAKE the live concert CD + DVD will be available early in 2008.

[[ASINB000LXISE6 Awake]]. I fell in love with Josh Grobans voice when I first heard him in Ally McBeal, years ago. His haunting voice made me stop in my tracks and I never forgot his voice. Years later he has just got better. This album is a lovely mix of classical and modern songs, and is best listened to at full volume so that you can sing along! This is the first album of his that I have bought, but guess whats on my xmas list!
