Chilled Ibiza ClassicsSearch: Underworld Second Hand by: Various Artists Release Date Not your run of the mill money spinner from the record agencies, this album really actually tries to "chill" you out, I have a lot of great memories to some of the tracks on this album so i just had to buy it again after the first one was accidently killed! Bearing in mind i dont usually BUY albums, this should be explanation enough!! well worth buying by anyone who knows a good chill out album when they hear one, Happy Listening. |

Beautiful. Three days later our car was broken into and my bag was nicked, with this inside. Less beautiful. Suffice to say I'd grown to love this album enough by that point to be replacing it now I'm home. Everyone's got volume 5. Be different... |

We're not - quite - at "Now That's What I Call Chill!" pap saturation levels yet, but when big box comps such as Chillout Forever start appearing the time must be drawing near. Yet this budget collection manages to do several things right, especially at that price. More than a few exclusives, some tucked away discoveries, a couple of flashbacks for older folk...too bad they hacked and abridged the whole lot into mostly three minute chunks, all unmixed. The hits are there, at least. Disc 1, discounting a Fatboy Slim droning junker and the original Schiller "Ruhe", swings through breezy house pop with aplomb. Cream Collect: BalearicSearch: Underworld Second Hand by: Various Artists Release Date Im a great believer in dance complilation albums, although i usually end up buying albums that only have one song on that i love. When i first picked up this album, a song jumped out at me. Sueno Latino! I was sold already, when i gazed over the songs on the album i couldn't believe it, it has an amazing mixture of songs that you wouldn't have put on an album with dance tunes. Lullaby (The Cure) and Forbidden Colours (David Sylvian) are fantastic and put amongst some ibiza classics, this album should be in every CD rack in every home. You only have to read the track list, and there is at least one song that everyone will remember and love. Buy it! |
