This is a wonderful album by Norrie Paramor and his Orchestra but I'm very sorry to say that the totally unnecessary and quite corny sounding vocals by a single soprano voice totally ruin what could have been a fabulous CD.
Norrie Paramor was a superb writer for orchestra and was also a record producer in the pop industry and he seems to have hit on the novel idea of having a solo soprano voice (Patricia Clarke) appearing on many of his orchestral albums singing a few lines of the refrain,a habit which I personally find particularly irritating,in fact,at times cringingly awful.
To me, this is a great shame and has ruined many of Paramor's otherwise great albums. There is however one exception and it is his album of gorgeous ... Read More:

This is an extraordinary single with its high tempo upbeat rhythm and gut strong vocals. Even the horns are real - no synthesized crap here. The single did VERY well in the UK but went nowhere in the USA. This woman can sing! If you can get the album, "Independence" you are in for a real treat of pure talent. It's that good!
