I think this CD is a fantastic piece of anyone in to the hard house'ish' sort of scene. Some good tracks with dreamy vocals but enough pumping bass to keep you going all night long if you want to as well. Also good for that morning jolt to get you out of bed!

Ed Real and BK, two of the finest Hard House DJs around. Each CD is 100% top-notch, every tune is boss. Nick Sentience's mix of Komodo is second to none, Cortina - Music is Moving is just about the biggest Hard House tune of the year 2001. This whole album is hard and bassy. Well worth the buy, and is great for taking to parties to liven up the crowd!!!

Mash Up Mix 2008

I own both the Mash Up Mix 2006 and 2007 and have to say this is the weakest of the three but not by too much of a margin. CD1 is absolutely brilliant, with a voyage through so many house and garage genres. Fantastic beat throughout and really deserves five stars. However! CD2... oh dear. this is a complete mess and I think is only here as a kind of experiment (and of course if MoS offers 2 CD's it will always Look like better value than 1). If you like experimental music you'll love it, however if you hanker after the all round quality of the previous two installments, you might be disappointed.

I own both the Mash Up Mix 2006 and 2007 and have to say this is the weakest of the three but not by too much of a margin. OK. A host of classics re spun and rearranged into 3 CD's. Nothing really new here but ok to play at home pre party. I'm sure it will sell well but just another commercial album. The new club scene will probably go for this one but not cutting edge enough for me.

Being a 53 year old, grey haired, should know better ageing rocker and having listened to a couple of State Of Trance programs on Kiss I decided to try a collection and this looked like good value for money.
Although I have only listened to disc 1 so far I am not dissapointed and found only a couple of tracks I would probably not put on my iPod.
Although I would have preferred it to be a bit more on 'heavy' I am giving it 5 stars simply on the enjoyability v cost calculation.
Whoever put the collection together has done a good job of providing a mix of styles whilst keeping the interest and if you are thinking of giving trance a chance this collection is a good starting point and will not break the bank.

Compared to the Big Room DJ's 2 or Nukleuz Hard House Anthems 3 of this world is was pathetic.It's far to weak to be allowed to call it self Hard House.There are some one of two thumpin tunes hidden with in the many many sad slow songs.The only good thing about this release is numbers 13,14 and 15 on CD 1.Lisa Pin Up is not the best DJ in the world but she is certainly better then Andy Farley on this evidence.A waste of money, thank god I didnt buy it when it came out first because I would have wasted more.Do not buy this people.Buy Nukleuz Anthems instead (any of the 3 they are all good).
