An absolutely stunning recording packed with unknown gems. The CD offers a mixture of sacred music which ranges from liturgical music to popular songs. What is great about this recording is the strong sense of ritual that pervades the music.

As for the comment that it has 'too much Mass', there is actually not one single Mass movement in it! Only setting of liturgical hymns used in Vespers or at most solemn celebrations.

Also, excellent sound engineering! Clean and crisp sound!

For the group's tenth studio album, they decided to title their album `10'. Love the cover, but I agree with Hugh Cornwell that by now the group had seemed to have run out of steam. Where is the politically-correct bite? Where is the politically-incorrect bite? What happened to the cynicism of the system? Instead, most of the songs possess bland safe lyrics that any other bland safe pop group would be proud to possess. This is such a disappointment after the wonderful `Dreamtime' album.

The only songs of note are "Sweet Smell Of Success" with its wicked congas and solo trumpet, the echo-rocker "96 Tears" and the harder-edged "Out Of My Mind". The track "In This Place" has a haunted hippy feel, as if it formed part of a concept album: ... Read More:
