i would first like to agree with the person who wrote the feedback/reveiw number 6 how can you have a cd from the 80s without micheal jackson? micheal ruled the 80s no - one was even close to the king of pop. i think they should take the cd back and seriosuly consider putting a jackson classic on it.

When driving it doesn't matter how cheesy or par ce a song is just as long as you can sing along to it and crank up the volume. With this box box set you get a mix of the loud, the power ballads and the downright dodgy all in one.

Some of the more delightful of offerings come from Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac and Chris Rea(Who has the driving anthems market covered in my view) Spun over three discs there are ample tunes to get you pipes around here. T'Pau, Phil Collins and The Cars, with their awesome "Drive" are there to give you your dosage of power ballads.

This CD will obviously appeal massively to dad's and would be a perfect fathers day present or birthday present but unfortunately I must confess that I love this box set ... Read More:

I have to agree with the more recent comments about this compilation. It is a great mix of stuff, certainly will keep you bouncing about while driving, and also while doing housework etc! Very good value for money and only one or two tracks that I would really call fillers. I had an excellent cassette of driving hits which was stolen and this is a terrific replacement.

Although some of the tracks are the versions I remember from my youth others are remixes or live versions. This severely impairs my listening pleasure. I own all the tracks on various different vinyl albums and thought this would be a good way of listening to them on my car's cd player. I really dislike the nineties re-vamping of some great tunes, it dates them outside of their original context, very odd, and more oddly they sound tired and outmoded, unlike the originals which have stood the test of time. Don't waste your money - steer clear.
