 Rating:  - BrilliantThis is a good collection of music by Natacha Atlas-she is extremely talented and this album reflects that. The covers are excellent, as Natachas does not merely rehash the same sounds but really makes the song her own, in her own style. As for her own songs, they are beautiful and sensual, combining more traditional beats with modern ones. This album is never dull-the livelier tracks tend to be very eclectic, drawing influences from sounds from all over the world. The slower ones are sensual but still retain power and strength-there is nothing half-hearted on this album. Though deeply rooted in Arabic culture, Natacha's music is by no means confined to this genre, and as a result she is a very accessible artist. This greatest ...
