Jerry Douglas is undoubtedly an extremely talented musician, and has deservedly been hijacked for many songs from a variety of musicians.

This album does contain some great songs. 'Back In Love Again' with Alison Krauss is excellent, with a superb mix of musicianship and vocal talent. 'Snow's First Fall' is also a smooth, flowing, relaxing tune that blends all of the instruments involved very well and really draws you in.

However, what is wrong with this album is that there are some songs that just simply don't do justice to Jerry Douglas' playing ability. Songs such as 'Swing Blues No. 1' and 'Sir Aly B' were let-downs for me. They do require some strong dobro skills, but they just don't work with Jerry's style, so the ... Read More:
