If you liked the Spin Doctors, you'll love this. They retain their happy pop/rock/jazz/funk mix that propelled them to fame in the early nineties, but have found a new maturity. Definately worth the money, it comes with a free DVD with a few tracks and interviews on it. I cannot understand why this group faded so badly, the music gets better every album and they're excellent live.

As a massive Cars fan I was a little worried when I heard about this release. The Cars without Ric Ocasek? Could it ever work? Well, on this evidence, the answer surprisingly is YES. This is a really great live album and the new members of the band seem to have captured the feel of the groups earlier work amazingly well. Todd Rundgren does a great job replacing Ocasek and I can't tell you how good it felt to hear Greg Hawkes distinctive keyboard sounds or Elliot Easton's guitar riffs again. The set order also helps to make this a great album and if you ever liked the original Cars have faith you will like this. The new line up's live magic doesn't quite transfer so well to the new studio tracks however. Here the lack of Ocasek (or Ben Orr's) distinctive ... Read More:
