It works though and Tina is on top form on the vast majority of theses 40 tracks.The backing band and singers are amazing its a real rock n roll album not an orchestra/strings in sight. If you are looking for the Ike and Tina originals that they cut in the studio then this might not be for you however if you love hearing Tina sing live then this album is an absolute must. |
