This time lsat year i was on my socail daethbed. i was unatached from life. this movie made me think about rejoining bingo night. being an obese 83 yaerold wamon who lived in a tralior it was hard for me to find luv. then i found $8 on the ground and decieded to see this briallent movy.
the storie follows a beuatiful young wamon who finds love in littel doll. the doll was captured and barbie had to save him. it was a sweet littel flic that ended sweetly.
this movy changed my life and i am now on the verge of complet hapynes. i recomned this to anyone who wants to find luv. i only saw this film once and fell aslep durin it but nonetheles i reomned it.

I bought this because my little girl loves the story of Rapunzel but this was nothing like the original story. Yes she has long hair and yes her name is Rapunzel but that is it. She did enjoy watching it but Rapunzel it is not.

Let's get the perspective clear from the start: I grew up despising Barbie in all her guises - her only discernable use was as legitimate target practice for my action man. I resisted all things Barbie until my daughter was introduced to her via this exposition at a friend's house and Santa caved in on her fourth Christmas. Seen through the eyes of a parent, this film does terrible things to Tchaikovsky's masterpiece - cutsie animals, lavender unicorns and a changed ending but my daughter was captivated by this, the best of the series. By that magic ability that six-year-old girls possess that enables them to wrap fathers round their little fingers, she has since added most of the others, though this remains the favourite.

This is quite an elderly anime at this stage. Old enough that Excel Saga did a parody episode of it some time ago.

It is hilariously funny _if_ and only if it catches you in the right mood. If you try to watch it seriously then you will probably deride it, but if you sit down with the intent of laughing your head off then this film will help you every step of the way.

The story was probably never that great to begin with (rebellious students with inexplicably good martial arts skills, mutants taking over as teachers, wannabe superheroes and terrified biker gangs) and I honestly suspect that many of the writers, artists and voice actors didn't "get" the plot, but by the time the dubbing crew and english voice actors, who _really_ didn't get ... I been watching Cardcaptors movies recently, I even watched the 2nd movie and they are both brillant. I been watching it all over again and again, I must say over 100 times now (I never get bored of it!)

This movie is about Sakura wining a trip to Hong Kong not knowing she was actually summoned by a powerful sorceress and the sorceress demands Sakura to bring her Clow Reed, but Clow Reed is dead how can it be possible????? Its nice to see that contender video decided to continue releasing this series on VHS (the first 3 double pack volumes combined to form a single image and there were fears, in my house at least, that these would be all that would be available)

The tapes in this package contain some of the later episodes from the first season of the show and introduce supporting characters who are essential to the resolution of the story in the second series, as well as depicting sakuras increasing confidence in the way of the clow.

As always the art is beautiful and delicately detailed,the scripting, translation and acting (although a thorn in the side of hardcore anime fans) are touching and nicely handled.

Distant Thunder [1988]

I remember watching this film for the first time years back and loving it and although I still enjoyed it the second time around,I found that Ralph Macchio's acting let it down. His character just wasn't believable, the acting stilted and for some reason his 80's clothes and haircut made the film look dated.
The Vets roles were all very well acted and show the heartbreak and dislocation from every day life that I imagine a lot of these veterans must have felt on returning home after the war.
The ending is somewhat predictable but heartwarming all the same.
Overall, definitely worth a watch.

The Cardcaptor Series just gets better and better with nothing bad to say about it.If you a cardcaptors fan or anime fan than you need to get into cardcaptors.Get the series so far from volumes 1-8 WARNING volumes 1-8 is not the seies and is no where near.I'll be the first to write a review when the next Voulumes come out soon i hope.Peace out.P.S get the cardcaptors clow book aswell like me :D see ya.
